"We share all the suffering that is happening in the world...not consciously, not equally, but we share it. We share a collective unconscious of influential fears... To release suffering in one is to relieve it from the collective experience...but this is not done through suppression and denial, through coping and medicating...yet, there is a time and place for those responses.
At some point, we stop coping. We stop being a masked version of normal. It is at that point, we feel the most alone in the awareness of our suffering. It is at that point, we are most able to walk through hell, and make it to the other side. Look around you, most of us are in some kind of pain..but not showing it, so that we don't frighten people, or appear vulnerable, or worse, it is buried so that we are completely numb to the infection....because we "dealt with it" "got over it" or "sucked it up". Are we all really "fine"?"
